The Dorn Method was originated from Germany and developed by Dieter Dorn. It’s a friendly soft method, whereby dislocated vertebrae and joints are corrected and the softer tissues massaged.
Starting point of the Dorn method is a difference in length of the leg, a fairly common problem by people with back complaints. The weight of the body shifts to the shorter leg and thus the vertebrae can be dislocated. As a result several other complaints may occur on a physical level as well as on a psychological level. Many complaints of the vertebrae often find their cause on a deeper lever. Therefore the Dorn method links the vertebrae with the organs and the psyche. The corrections are conducted in motion, which makes it easier for the body to accept change.
To conclude this method, the dorn massage is followed by the Breuss massage, developed by Rudolf Breuss. This warm energetic massage aims to relax the spinal column and the long back muscle.
